Basic face products (video & blog) (part 5 of 5)

The products I mention this video are:

- Smashbox – Cream Eyeline Palette (this one is no longer available, but the mini version is, that is sold in a metallic and a cream version). Great as an eyeliner, but you can also use this as a base underneath shadow.

- Make Up For Ever – 12 Flash Color Case
This is great as a base, for more funky looks, I’ve used this for Halloween looks, it can also be used as lipcolour. This is muli-use and amazing.

- Benefit – HighBrow
A great highlighter on the browbone, but Continue reading

Basic face products (video & blog) (part 4 of 5)

The products I mention this video are:

- Smashbox Bronzer/Blusher duo from a kit I bought a while ago
I love the blusher but the bronzer is slightly too dark for my skintone.

Dior - Diorshow Powder (Face Loose Powder in the colour:005 BronzeArtistique)
A great thing to have and it looks so cute as well.

Illamasqua – Highlighting powder in the colour Ether (no longer available).
Other shimmery powders can be bought anywhere from very cheap to very expensive. You can also use a Continue reading

Basic face products (video & blog) (part 3 of 5)

The products I mention in this video are:

MAC – Select Sheer/Loose powder
A face powder with a hint of colour to even out skintone somewhat.

- MAC – Mineral Loose Foundation
It looks cakey on me, but on Nouk it looked perfect, so this is a foundation that depends very much on Continue reading

Basic face products (video & blog) (part 2 of 5)

The nailpolish I’m wearing is: OPI – Done out in Deco
The products I mention are:

-  Benefit – Confessions of a Concealaholic
A great set of concealers it has a faceprimer “That Gal” that works pretty well (but not my favourite), it has an Erase paste which works amazing if you use it sparingly, use too much and it will move on it’s own. It has two Boi-ing concealers that work amazing on blemishes and also Lemon Aid that is an eyeshadow primer and colour corrector for Continue reading

Basic face products (video & blog) (part 1 of 5)

Hi everyone,

I wanted to tell my friend a lot about primers, concealers, tinted moisturizers, etc etc. so I started this video and it became two because I have a lot to talk about. I finished the video with a makeup look but after 15 minutes my camera automatically stops recording…. ARGH!!! So for the finished look, I took pictures at the end. When adding the product information and checking if I don’t look like a complete rambling idiot I found out that a HUGE part of the video was missing, so I reshot part 2 butttt not the makeup look, so I’ll explain the look and show you pictures at the and of this post (part 2 of the video is coming later today). When retaping the second part I actually talked so much more that I now have a set of 5 video’s and a 2 part brush video (incl. eyeliner tutorial) to show you soooo…. get some tea (I’m drinking a cup of tea whilst writing this), get some snacks, get comfortable and I hope you don’t fall asleep halfway through ;)

All products were paid by me or bought for me. No sponsoring or anything of that sort in these video’s this is just me, my favourite products and my opinion.

The products I mention are:

Amore Pacific  - Treatment enzyme peel
I used this because Continue reading

OPI – Done out in Deco

Hi everyone,

I’ve worn this colour so much when I first got it and then for some unexplanable reason it disappeared from my radar. When I did the post about all my current OPI polishes I found it again and here it is on my nails.

Natural light:

Done out in Deco is from the OPI Spring/Summer 2009 South Beach collection and Continue reading

All my current Color Club polishes

Hi everyone,

I did a youtube video about an unboxing and as I was talking about my polishes all of a sudden I thought I could tell you all the polishes I still have and use regularly. Now there was a choice to be made on how I would show you, and when reorganizing my polishes I thought doing it by brand would be best. I placed a number on the cap of all the polish bottles and I’m going to give you the link to the original post with the polish, more information and all the pictures if you click on the name of the polish.

Glossybox April 2012 unboxing (incl. video)

Hi everyone,

I got this Glossybox yesterday and I am really excited about at least two of the products but I will tell you more about all the products here under the video because this time I filmed the actual unboxing and that means I had no opinion on some of the new products yet. If you like my old version of the unboxings (having opened it before but “reopening” it on camera and knowing more about the products so I can tell you more about them) let me know in the comments so I’ll do the following unboxings in the way you guys enjoy best.

For more information on GlossyBox in the Netherlands visit: www.glossybox.nl

The following products were in this box (all prices are for fullsize products): Continue reading
