Hi everyone,
As you might know curly hair is easier damaged and usually very fragile. As my hair is curly it’s known for being beautiful to others and a nightmare to me. I love my hair curly. But since I put highlights in them last year I have bits that are straight. I have dark hair naturally, so any greys (yes, I’m old
) show up really well and they all tend to show up exactly where you notice them first. Next I have a sensitive scalp, it can be very dry but too much product in a shampoo or conditioner and it will be oily. Lastly I have curly hair….. which means frizzy hair. If I shower and put nothing in it….. Helloooo miss Diana Ross. If I put gel in I look odd, mousse and it’s crunchy, wax and it’s sticky and looks oily…. argh. But since I’ve had my hair all my life
I know how to handle it best.
I’ve been loving the Redken Hair products for curly hair but then it suddenly became awfully hard to get my hands on it. Next up, L’Oreal, my hair always worked amazing on it, but now, itchy scalp and horrible flat curls. Back to John Frieda, itchy scalp again. Well the list can go on, but eventually I caved and got what I expected would work but didn’t want to pay that amount of money for. I got the Macadamia Natural Oil set (the set was cheaper then 3 products bought separately).
The set contains a Shampoo, Moisturizing Rince, Nourishing Leave-In Cream, Deep Repair Masque, Healing Oil Treatment, Healing Oil Spray and a Comb and a DVD with how everything would work.
One use and my hair was a lot softer then I can remember it ever feeling. No itching, no flat curls or oiliness. It feels like a dream. It smells nice and you don’t use a lot of it. I got this set 4 months ago and only the Moisturizing Rince is empty.
Will I buy again? YES! Not the complete set because I still have enough of the healing oil and Leave-In Cream, but the shampoo and Rince I’m ordering tomorrow.
For all of you wondering about the products. I made a picture of the back of the box where all the information is on every product. Click the picture for a bigger view.
