China Glaze – Stroll
Hi everyone,
It’s the end of witer, which means to me that dark reds still need some time before the pastel colours come out to play again. The colour I’m favouring the last few weeks is Stroll by China Glaze. This colour is from the China Glaze Retro Diva Fall 2009 Collection.

I did a post with this colour way back in August 2009 (click here) and I said then that it might be one of my favourites, well, it is a favourite dark red and I love it more and more every time I wear it. It might be the gold particles in the polish that make me love it so much, it’s not a glitter but more a sort of thin flecks of microshimmer, but it does have more depth then a normal deep burgundy colour. This is one of those polishes that is very hard to describe. If you wear less layers it’s more red, but I hate visible naillines, so I placed thee coats here and that darkens it to this amazing colour.
I didn’t use a topcoat here because nailpolish stays longer on my nails if I let it dry naturally and I only own quickdrying topcoats. There isn’t a super shine to the polish naturally and it’s not very smooth but that is the gold particles that do that, but a topcoat can fix this perfectly. I also love that all China Glaze coloured polishes have nailhardeners in them.
I’m wearing Nail Tek Step one, OPI NailEnvy Original and 3 coats of China Glaze Stroll.
