"When I went to the event, I had concerns about the lipstick because I was the eyes and lips demo girl (I got a wicked purple smokey eye. You can see it on Instagram; I'm sad you can't see how gorgeous it is, but you can get the idea), they reformulated it because they were revamping their entire line (the eyeshadows now are in new packaging, the glitters are better and the formula is smoother) and they made an executive decision to remove the scent and taste because they got numerous complaints about that (thank God.) If I remember, they wanted them all to be vegan too, so the entire company is now vegan, save for very very few products which contain carmine and they are very transparent on the non-vegan ones (one of the things I love about Urban Decay.) But, they also stopped making false lashes, which sucks because I wanted to try those!
One thing to note is the quality hasn't changed. It's better if anything. That's one thing I think in that having a parent company has helped them!"
"Sounds like a good day to me! I'd love a day watching TV with Zena ;)
I wonder if the whole reformulation thing has anything to do with them now being owned by L'Oreal (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://articles.latimes.com/2012/nov/26/business/la-fi-mo-loreal-urban-decay-20121126)."
"The new formula is really nice. No scent (which was why I had to give Lovechild to my mom in the first place; it was originally mine!), no weird funky taste and it's light and creamy yet it's pretty full coverage on the first swipe and stays for hours. I have Anarchy in a full tube. They changed the tubes, which is sad, as they aren't as cool. No swords. :(
I think it's another day of the Olympics (especially watching the men's long program in figure skating) with Zena for Valentine's Day for me. I am not a romantic at all!"
