"They used to have a wide variety of charities they gave to, but it looks like they recently launched FITE, which is a fininacial indepencence thing which is about empowering women and girls through entrepeneurship. Dermalogica does a lot of empowerment stuff like that!
Yea, well, better to have short and stubby lashes that naturally curl than very long lashes that stick straight out and refuse to stay curled! HA HA HA!!!! That's the story of my life. Hair and lashes that hate to curl!"
"Your sick face is better than my sick face, okay? I'm red, splotchy and generally look like a nightmare.....and that's with my cleansers and crap. But then, my getting sick means I will automatically have a running, stuffy clogged up nose (so I will have a very red, peeling nose no matter how much Vaseline I use), runny or watery eyes and I will run a very high fever. Of course, the only time I didn't run a fever and was ill was when I had bronchitis a month back. That was awful!
Your sick face most definitely beats mine!"
"I didn't know they do so many amazing contributions, that's really great!
I love your "WHATEVER" attitude, if it works, it works :D
It's true you do have really long lashes! Mine tend to stay "short" and I never noticed so much as when my Revitalash ran out and all of a sudden my lashes disappeared like snow when the sun comes out. And then I see my niece and nephew's INSANELY long lashes and I'm so jealous. Ow well, you can't have everything."
"Part of the reason they are expensive is that they contribute so much to women's and children shelters and programs, so I actually didn't mind spending that much when I did use Dermalogica. I would go back to it if my whole damn system didn't cost, you know, $120 (or something like that.)
I'm using a mix of Urban Decay and Clinique currently. I use Urban Decay B6 toner (which I have completely run out of so I'm using the cooling one which is technically a sealing product but WHATEVER) and the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion +, Liquid Facial Soap (which I don't always like because it leaves my skin feeling tight so I use it once every other day), Comfort Cream Cleanser, and Take the Day Off Remove for lids, lashes and lips. I use the 7-Day Scrub Rinse Off Formula from Clinique when I feel I need it because it can be too harsh for me.
For eyes, I use Simple eye cream and then I use an Urban Decay lash stimulator thing just to keep my lashes hydrated. The lash grower has brought back a little bit of the lashes I lost from my years of hair pulling, but not really that much so I'm just using it to keep my lashes nourished (and really, it doesn't help make them longer on me. Mine are all ready insanely long.)"
"They're amazingly expensive! I think it's a fluke pimple, it's almost gone already.
I like the no fragrance, it makes me feel like I'm using a product that isn't manufactured to make you think it works but to actually work. Have you ever tried Philosophy?
What brands are you using now Katie?"
