Hi everyone,

After finding the perfect elephant grey for my eyes (the grey from the Smashbox, Eye Shadow Trio – Shutterspeed) I’ve been looking for the perfect grey for my nails. I believe that just like there is a red lipstick for everyone, there is a perfect shade of every colour for everyone. I’ve found the perfect purple for my nails (Pasadena Purple by Nubar) and the perfect blue (OPI – Blue my mind) that the quest took me to the many shades of grey. Many greys are too “cold” for my liking. From the greys I already own the OPI – Suzi Skis In the Pyrenees Suede is my favourite.

I saw this lighter shade of grey (805 Grey Matter by Rimmel London) in the store a while ago and I thought that just because the colour looks odd in the bottle doesn’t have to mean it looks odd on nails. I sort of like it and sort of don’t. If I was more tanned it would look better I think, but on me… mheee not so much. It’s too blue and too cold. It’s got a wide Rimmel Brush which is thicker and longer then the OPI wide brush which means application is a little more trouble. It dries quickly and evenly and perfectly though, so that’s all good. It has a good staying power on me so I’m happy about that as well. But the colour…. well you judge:
