One week ago I got these nailpolish strips in a tester packet, so I have no idea what colour this is. I was expecting it to fall off in a day, but it didn’t!

I started with clean nails and I pushed on the shape that fit my pinky nail best and then worked inward.
First I took off the protective film and then I place it in the middle (I didn’t do it like they show you on the website because I think the polish loses it’s opagueness if you stretch it.
I then push it down
Next I use a nailfile to take off the access:
This is how my nails look directly after placement:

After a week (Sunday to Sunday):
Now I wasn’t easy on my nails this week! And as you can see only a little fading at the tips.
Taking it off wasn’t fun though, the glue which keeps the polish on your nails this perfectly is horrible, it get’s onto your hands and on the cotton polish remover pads and it’s sticky and UGH. But it all fairness, it does keep the nails looking perfectly so no staining or anything so I would definetely get it in the shops or online.

I wash my face twice a day, I usually do a quick cleanse at the start of the day and a torough cleanse at the end of the day (sometimes a mask after a good scub).
2. What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
Sensitive normal skin (with an oily nose :S)
3. What is your current facial wash?
For morning cleanse I use: Neutrogena PureGlow cleansing cushions
For the nightly cleanse I use: Dermalogica Precleanse oil (that turns into a milk when you add water) and Ultracalming Cleanser to calmly cleanse the last dirt of my face.
4. Do you exfoliate?

Dermalogica & Neutrogena
6. Is it really important to moisturize?
YES! Moisturizing protects, feeds and hydrates your skin.

Never, but I’d never do it in a car tough
19. What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Great for certain looks it works (see picture of Nic’s makeup done by me)

When you line your waterlines with black pencil, squeez your eyes tightly afterwards and the colour will “bleed” into the lashline making the colour look sooo much better.
32. Which celebrity always has great make up?
Kim Kardashian when it’s done by Mario Dedivanovic.
33. Can you make a “cat eye” wing?
Yes

35. Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes
36. Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Some days I do
37. In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
I have to pick one? I can’t!! Seriously I can’t. I love Make Up For Ever for their colours, I love Urban Decay for their bravery, I love Dior for the classics, I need Chanel for the sheers, Smashbox for their kits…. etc etc… I can’t choose, don’t make me
38. Would you ever consider permanent makeup?
Noooo, what if you’re 80 and you still have dark eyebrows even though you’re completely grey :S
39. Have you ever work in a cosmetic line?
Nope, I’ve been asked a lot though, but I always had school and I was older then they thought I was.

Hi everyone,
Well, this makeup by Amanda Rijff was done quite a while ago. I’ve been waiting for the pictures to make the post complete for a while, but I finally decided to do it with the pictures I already have and when I get the other ones from Nic I’ll add them then.
The makeup is all by Laura Mercier and is applied by Amanda Rijff at the Skins store (www.skins.nl/visagie.htm). Amanda is the account manager for NL/BE. This woman is sooo nice and sooo filled with knowledge, it was very fun to watch her work and pick her brain.
The Flawless Face Map I got looks like this:
And my face looked like this:
The day I got this flawless face I went there with a clean face, using only a tinted moisturizer (by Dermalogica). Before starting the makeup we had a good talk about what I wanted and my expectations. I told her no limits as long as there wasn’t an orange lipstick involved. I wanted to look at how she handled the products but not look in the mirror because I wanted to be surprised and I know I can do the application with her face map.
After she cleaned my face she started with the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer I was amazed that she used so much more then I use normally, but then with this primer I do use more then with my Smashbox primer. It’s been made for oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin types Amanda told me and after using it for about a month I can honestly tell you that I’ve had less blemishes and my skin looks less oily even in this humid weather. Acoording to the Laura Mercier website it contains high water content and addresses surface dehydration around active blemishes (my skin does react very well to this primer, I do miss the extra smooth feeling I get with the Smashbox primer, but this Laura Mercier primer is my preferred choice at the moment). It contains oil controlling ingredients ensure long-wear and flawless application (you’ll see in the last pictures, that my face does look practically the same at night as it did after application, and that after a warm day with Nicole and riding a bike in the sun). The primer also contains vitamins A, C, & E which act as antioxidants & protect the skin from harmful, aging effects of the environment (I use Dr. Brandt’s Anti-Oxidant Water Booster every day to keep my skin as healthy as possible so adding a protective layer at skinlevel is great as well). A tip given by Laura Mercier is cool the Foundation Primer in the refrigerator to refresh the skin & reduces puffiness.
The foundation that was used on my skin was Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in the shade Fawn, I thought I’d be a Sand but with the summersun, I have tanned a little bit, so she used Fawn. In the Flawless Face Kit (Oil Free) I bought Laura Mercier Oil Free Flawless Face Kit (in the colour Sand) are almost all the products she used for my face. I’d already ordered this before this day came because I was curious about the products and I was happy that when I left the store that day I could take the face kit with me. The Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer is pigmented enough to not need a foundation. If you layer two layers of this (building the colour) you can make this a normal foundation coverage. Again this Oil Free version is made for acne prone, sensitive or oily skin. There are many skins these days that are oily but still dry, there is an oily film over the skin, but the skin its self is dehydrated and this tinted moisturizer does work amazingly to rehydrate. This product really helps with that horrible oily film you can get halfway through the day and it also has an SPF of 20 which is ideal for summer.
The concealer she used was sooo much darker then I’m used to using, she used the no. 4 Undercover Pot which is the darkest one there is. I was actually thinking she was making a huge mistake when she was applying it, but it looked perfect. The undercover pot that’s in the kit I bought is a no. 3 one which works perfect for the fall and for winter I’ll probably need the no. 2 pot. This Pot is sooo easy to bring with you, I didn’t take off the sticky thing over the sifter because I hate having the powder all over the pot when you open the screw top. I do really hope the Illamasqua “stoppers” in these kinds of pots catch on, those are amazingly handy. Under the top lid there are a Secret Camouflage and Secret Concealer. The Secret Camouflage formula is oil-free and stays in place all day long to cover blemishes, scars and imperfections. I tend to use this with the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Brush which is a flat tapered synthetic brush on blemishes and I use it with my fingers around my nose to take away the redness. The under eye circles are hidden with the Secret Concealer which is softer and that means you tug less on the delicate skin around your eyes.
She set the makeup with the Laura Mercier Mineral Finishing Powder in no. 2. I normally hate mineral powders, I’ve worn the Bare Essentials powders and on me it’s chalky and for some reason I break out almost immediately. The sifter on the packaging is only halfway, so you don’t have the problem with too much product coming out. This setting powder really did keep my makeup perfect the entire day, the only place that started to shine during the evening was my nose. This is not a product you buff in like the MUFE HD powder, you just smooth it over and then it’s perfect. She tapped the Powder brush to make sure the powder really got into the brush and gave a perfect finish to my skin.
The colour on my cheeks is Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Tender Mauve. I don’t wear a lot of blush, but when I came to Nic’s place that’s the first thing she noticed. The cheek colour was applied with the Cheek Colour Brush.
The pr
imer she used on my eyes is Eye Basics in the shade Peach. This primer kept the eyeshadow perfectly for the entire day and when it was the end of the day and I wanted to take it off it wasn’t hard to remove the makeup either.
On my eyes she used three colours, namely Sateen Eye Colour in Sandstone as a base, applying it with the Eye Colour Brush and blending with the Pony Tail Brush. This is a creamy powder that is crease resistant and is an amazing highlighting colour.
The next colour she used was Matte Eye Colour in Twilight Grey on my outer 3/4th of my eyelid and blending it up in and above the crease using the Angled Eye Colour Brush to apply and blend the colour on my crease. The main crease colour was another Matte Eye Colour but now in the colour Plum Smoke, applied with the Angled Eye Colour Brush and Pony Tail Brush.
The tighlining was done with an Eye pencil I had to buy immediately, namely the one in the colour Purple Sapphire. She also pressed the colour on my lower lash line, keeping the line very very thin (smudging it a little with the Smudge Brush, but the pop of colour was amazing.
She used a brow pencil for blonds to make my eyebrows a little neater without making it look like she filled in my eyebrows. Next she used a Thickening and Building Waterproof mascara in black on my lashes. The thing I did really miss was the curling of the lashes. I also wondered why she didn’t contour my face, but when I asked her she told me that contouring is something people do wrong very easily and she never does this because you need to know what your doing and when doing makeup like this you don’t know the person’s makeup skills.
On my lips she used a Lip Pencil in Chestnut using only her finger to pull the skin taught. The lip colour on my lips is Lip Colour Sheer in Bare lips. This is a hydrating, anti-aging, plumping and conditioning lip colour with a semi-matte finish. I don’t think this colour should be called sheer, it’s pretty intense, but it is long lasting, it only faded after dinner (we ate taco’s so not something that’s easy on the lips).
After the entire day and night I took these pictures:

As you can see the shine is back, but the makeup colour is still there, the pop of purple is slightly less apparent and all the colours have softened a little, but what do you expect after more then 12 hours of no touch ups and riding a bike and eating in the sun.
So all in all, I’m impressed, of course there are things I would have done differently (contouring, curling the lashes for a more open eye and added an extra highlighter on the inner eye corner) but she really did teach me a lot and told me about the products with all honesty and with a love for the brand that’s contagious. I have more information on the products on the post about my makeup bag where I tell more about the products in the flawless face kit and my Neutral Eye Tutorial also talks about the products and application.
I’ll add the pictures that were taken at Nic’s place when I get them.
Have you ever not been able to sleep and then wondered around YouTube finding very odd video’s? Well… this one caught my eye.
Hi everyone,
retail_therapy tagged me on to do this, so here goes…
I think for natural beauty it would be Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Aniston & Jessica Biel.
For a sexy girl next door beauty it would be Kate Beckinsale, Keira Knightly & Kate Hudson.
For a sex bomb it would be Kim Kardashian, Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox.
For a quirky beauty it would be Lacey Mae Schwimmer, Gwen Stefani and Pink.
For a “new classic” I look at Victoria Beckham and Kate Winslet.
Beautiful models who inspire me would be women like Fernanda Tavares, Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Helena Christensen, Christy Turlington, Natalia Vodianova, Daria Werbowy, Tiiu Kuik, Mila Jovovich, Sasha Pivovarova and Linda Evangelista.
When I’m working or going to school I usually come home and take of my makeup and then apply a moisturizer to help it restore from all the damage from the airco. I use a face mask twice a week.
At night I take off all my makeup and usually I scrub my face with a light scub that is made for daily use, simply because at night the skin repairs itsself and I want my nightcream to enter my skin without all the dead skincells blocking it.
Not the answer you were looking for? Okay, then sunscreen, a parasol, a tent, bug repellant, a good book and a strong man to save me
.
Still not the answer you wanted? Sunscreen, Prevage eyecream, Estee Lauder Daywear Plus, mirror, primer, concealer, 8 hour cream, Lemon and Sage bodybutter (by Bliss), tweezers, nailfile, eyelashcurler, Redken Shampoo and Conditioner for curly hair.
I’d like to tag
Hi everyone,
There is a makeup look that will never go out of fashion, that look would be the nude/neutral eye. I haven’t done a huge tutorial in a long while, so I wanted to start again with this makeup look for you all. Click the image of the product to go to the producer’s website (if it’s still sold).
The final eye:
Every great neutral face and eye starts with a cleaned and moisturized face, it’s summer so the moisturizer is extremely important. In this warm weather people sweat and that means salt crystals on the skin, that plus the burning sun create an easily dehydrated skin. I’ve been using Shiseido’s The Skincare Range’s Day Moisture Protection SPF 15 (at night I use their Night Moisture Recharge Light) as my daily moisturizer and I also use Estee Lauder’s Daywear Plus Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Lotion SPF 15 I love using different moisturizers depending on what my skin needs, the Shiseido moisturizer is a little richer and the Estee Lauder moisturizer smells sooo summery
. The eye cream I’m using is by Elizabeth Arden’s PREVAGE® Eye Anti-aging Moisturizing Treatment.
Because I’m someone who doesn’t suntan I always stay pretty light. I do however hate looking pasty pale when everyone around me has a healthy glow, I found a way to make me instantly tan (depending on how much you put on your face) and it’s streakless and very easy to apply. This Clinique (click the image to go to the website) Self Sun face bronzing gel tint is a product I heard about on youtube when Pixiwoo was raving about it and I HAD to buy it and I love it.

I always apply this all over my face (taking extra care around the hairline) bringing it down my neck and then blending it out. I never apply this over my eyelids because I don’t think this is great for the eye area and if you blend it properly you just have brighter eyes which is something we all try to achieve with makeup. Having moisturized beforehand means you can blend this better and it’s not a flaky application. Do remember to scrub your face every couple of days when you’re using self tanner.
I LOVE this Smashbox Illuminating Serum which isn’t sold separately. You can only get this in the Master’s Class Vol. 4 Rescue Beauty kit sold at Sephora.com (click on the picture to go to the website).
This serum gives you a NATURAL healthy glow and wearing it alone makes your skin look perfect and not shiny or shimmery. Wearing it under a tinted moisturizer makes it a little less glowy but still naturally healthy, under a foundation it’s a minimal glow, but you can use it on top of your foundation as a highlighter on top of your cheekbones. I always work from the centre of the face blending outward because I want the most of the glow to be in the centre (the lit from within look). This tube contains rose extract and hyaluronic acid to moisturise and revive the complexion. The tube has a great “nozzle” to give you the pea size amount you need for your entire face.
I told you about the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer that I love this summer because it seems to eat my shiny-ness. I tell you more about it here.
It applies a little “stiffer” then the Smashbox Primer I love, but it does wonders for my shine this summer, so I’m loving it.
My skin looks pretty amazing now, but I still want it to look a little more perfect so I’m using the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer I talk about in this post. The colour I’m wearing is Sand.
This tinted moisturizer is pigmented enough to give me a perfect complexion. I seriously need no more coverage.
Next up is the Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener. This little tube is something I thought I’d never use, but I actually have three and I use it on everyone I make up.
When I’m not wearing any foundation I use this on the top of my nose, on my cheekbones, cupid’s bow and around my eyes. For this look I only used it on my cupid’s bow and on my eye-bone (see picture).
I blend this with my fingers.
Next up I use concealer, the one I’m using for this look is Laura Mercier Undercover Pot in no. 3 which contains the Secret Camouflage and Secret Concealer.
I tell you more about this product here. I use my fingers to blend the Secret Camouflage and the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Brush with it’s flat tapered synthetic brushhead. I love how the tip is perfect for concealing blemishes.
The Secret Concealer is slightly softer then the Secret Camouflage and is perfect for under eye concealing.
I am more tan thanks to the Self Sun, but I still want a little more contouring under my cheekbones and on my temples. For this I use Chanel Bronze Universel.
I don’t want to contour too much because I’m going for a natural look. On the picture you can see why I almost never use a blusher, I have a natural flush.
You can also see how many more freckles I get in the summer.
Next is powder to set everything. I’ve been using Laura Mercier’s Translucent Loose Setting Powder which is in the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot. I tell you more about it here. Up close the powder looks like this (and this is all I used on my entire face).
I use the Laura Mercier Camouflage Powder Brush for applying powder under the eyes to set the concealer.
To put the powder on the rest of my face I use the Laura Mercier Velours Puff. I skip powdering my apples and the tops of my cheekbones, I do this because I want these places to have a glow and I know that the makeup won’t budge even without powder.
To prime my eyes for the eyeshadow I love using the Urban Decay Primer potion.
I prime my entire eye and what’s left on my fingers I blend under my eye.
Now I can start with the eye shadows. To start of with I’m using a colour that’s slightly lighter then my skin tone but it’s so sheer that it’s perfect as a colour base. I use an eyeshadow all over my eye because of the primer I used, the primer keeps the eyeshadow longer, but it also makes it harder to blend. Blending is easier if you place a neutral shadow as a base. I’m using Smashbox Vanilla, which is a matte shadow. (Click on the picture to go to the website.)
I use a fluffy shadow brush (by Smashbox) to blend this all over my eyelid.
Remember to clean your shadow brushes once a week to make sure you work hygienic.
The thing that I love to do when doing a neutral eye is using shadows to make the eye look more open. The colour I use to manipulate my eye shape is Naked by Urban Decay (click the image).
This colour is slightly darker then my natural skin tone, it’s a matte eyeshadow.
To place this colour I’m using a stiffer brush, namely the no. 4 Concealer brush by Smashbox. This is a synthetic brush that’s made for concealer and cream eye shadows. This stiffer brush means I get a more precise application and more control over the blending.
I pack the colour only on one side of the brush and I apply it holding the colour to the eyebrow side of the eye and I’m holding the brush like this:
As you can see I’m applying it on the topside of my crease and I’m only applying it on the outer half of the crease. I then turn the brush a quarter and blend:
Put the side that the eyeshadow was on on the side of the nose. Blend and blend until you get a natural shadow and your eye looks like this:
I wanted a slightly darker brown to make it a little more shaded. I couldn’t find a matte dark brown until I found this brown in the Smashbox Smokey Eyes Eye Shadow Trio which is no longer sold.
The trio has a champaigne with gold flecks, a aubergine colour and a dark brown with a hint of gold.
As you can see the gold is almost non existing and I took very little of this on the no. 4 brush. I did the same thing I did with Naked and blended what was left on the brush after blending under my eyes, when I was done my eyes look like this:
I took up a brown cream eyeliner pencil from Smashbox in the colour Midnight Brown (no longer sold) and used that on my upper waterline pushing it into my eyelashes.
I don’t want anything on my lower waterline because this will close up the eye and it will make the makeup less natural.
The thing that finishes this makeup is eyelashes. I use my Shu Uemura Eyelashcurler, mini Lancome Cils Booster XL which I got in the Sephora Lashstash Mascara Deluxe Sampler and Rimmel London Secy Curves in waterproof Black.
The Cils Booster XL really makes my lashes appear longer. The best way of showing you is by showing you the picture of my “naked” face and the one after the mascara is applied, which is also the final eye.

When I close my eyes it looks like this:
On my lips I’m wearing Urban Decay’s XXX Shine Lipgloss (cooling lip gloss) in Heatherette.
I hope you guys like this HUGE tutorial.
Hi everyone,
At the end of last year, there was a collection by China Glaze called Operation Colour. In this collection was this AhMayZing colour called Agent Lavender, which applies pretty horribly, but the gorgeous colour makes it all okay.
I wanted to update the colour to the end of the Summer 2009 by adding a Konad image (plate M65 ) with the Pink Konad Polish on top of the polish and then making the nails matte with the Nail Tek Foundation II Ridge Filling Foundation. I also used NailTek as a basecoat.
If you’re like me and you’re trying to find a matte topcoat in your country (they don’t ship many nailpolishes to Europe anymore… so my nailaddiction will be very limited again
), don’t try the Essie Man-e Cure, it’s said it makes the nails matte, but it doesn’t. The way I make them matte (with the Ridgefiller) is something that’s also given as a tip in Elle Magazine (I did it before the tip came out
). Using a ridge filler as a topcoat does lengthen drying time a lot though, so it’s not a perfect solution.
Sun:
Shade:
Flash:
As you can see it’s a soft pastel and it only took two coats to get this kind of opague-ness. The best thing about this colour is that it makes you look more tan. I also haven’t found one person who couldn’t wear this colour… so that’s good.
Hi everyone,
Many many months ago, I was tagged to do a “what’s in my makeup bag” post, and I’m only doing it now for two reasons, one because everyone was doing one then and after a while you’re sick of seeing someone’s makeup bag. The other reason is that I’ve actually had a very busy holiday. I thought I’d be home doing looks all day when the holiday started, but now on my second to last day, I’m only getting ready to do all the things I was planning to do back then.
Soooo here is my makeup bag, at home I have a HUGE makeup drawer in my bedroom and a shelf in the bathroom, but in my bag, I only have this bag. Now I have to be honest, this bag changes every couple of days, because then I suddenly think about something else I need to bring (like eyelash glue, a RED lipstick or something else which means (because it’s a stuffed bag) that something else needs to get out of the bag. I have a litte mirror in my normal bag and I have a mini nailpolish remover there as well.
The bag I’m using is one I got about a month ago and many of the products in it came with the bag.
It’s from the Laura Mercier Oil Free Flawless Face Kit (colour Sand) which includes:

In this bag I have my Smashbox Illuminating Serum which is only available in the Master’s Class Volume 4 – Rescue Beauty kit that is available on the Sephora website.

The next thing I keep in this bag is the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer that came with the bag but you can also buy it seperately. I had to get used to this primer because it doesn’t go on like the smashbox photofinish we all know I love. It doesn’t make your skin feel as soft, but a plus is, that it does really make the makeup last amazingly. I got a tester with the Laura Mercier Hydrating Primer which does hydrate more, but because it’s not oil free it does make me shine a little more.
I also bring the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with me in Sand. The reason I have this in my bag is because I’ve been running around soo much these days, that I don’t have time to actually put on anything in the morning, I wake, shower, moisturize and go. When I’m not the person driving I do my makeup in the car, or I do it in the bathroom when I get to where I’m going.
This Tinted Moisturizer is pigmented enough to make me not need a foundation at all, which is very very good.
Because I’m in love with what the Smashbox Photo Op does to my eyes I have one in my drawer, one on my shelf in the bathroom and one in my makeup bag.
As a concealer that I bring with me I use the concealer that came with the bag. It is an amazing concealer but not quite the colour I need, but I do love the texture and that’s why I am using it. It’s the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot in no. 3 which contains the Secret Camouflage and Secret Concealer. The Secret Camouflage is oil-free and really does conceal all day, it’s made to cover blemishes, scars and imperfections. The Secret Concealer is softer in texture which makes the application very soft for the delicate skin under the eyes. If you then take off the lid you find a zifter and Translucent Loose Setting Powder which is a seriously AMAZING powder. You and I know that I seriously love the Make Up For Ever HD powder, but this powder is amazing in a different way. The MUFE powder makes my skin look flawless, but I do start to shine after 3+ hours on my nose and forehead. The Laura Mercier powder is oil free and contains cashmere talc which means I simply don’t shine at all for an entire day. The packaging is very handy, the only thing I HATE is that I keep breaking my nails on the concealer lid (ARGH).
Because I have oily eyelids, I need an eyeshadow primer. The one I always use is Urban Decay Primer Potion and I bring a mini travel size one with me in my makeup bag.
As a basic eyecolour that works with every look and every nude look as well I always go to my Clinique travel size Touch Tint for Eyes Shimmer Formula in Gold Glimmer This is the actual travel size, I also have the normal one, because I thought I’d go through it sooo quickly, but this thing has kept my eyes naturally glimmery for a year and it still looks like new. You need about a dewdrop amount for an entire eye.
I have the two brushes that came with the Flawless Face Kitt with me at all times. The Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Brush which is a flat tapered synthetic brush. I love how the tip is perfect for concealing blemishes.
The other brush I keep with me is the Laura Mercier Camouflage Powder Brush which is great for applying powder under the eyes to set the concealer. But you can also use it to blend eyeshadow if you don’t have a blending brush with you.
The other brush I have with me is the The Body Shop Retractable Blush Brush. This brush is soooo soft. I love to use it to use bronzer or blusher if I bring it with me. I also have it with me for a relaxing reason, I love how this brush feels on my face, so I keep playing with it when I’m bored or stressed.

The Laura Mercier Velours Puff that came with the bag is something I thought I’d never use, but I’d forgotten the blush brush at my friend’s place once and I had to use the puff and since then I’ve only used the puff to apply this powder, which says enough, doesn’t it? I throw it in the washing machine every 2 weeks (in a lingery bag) to keep it clean.
The Smashbox compact I can’t live without is this credit card size palette that includes a brow wax and 3 browpowders and 6 cream eyeliners. It came in the Try Me kit by Smashbox. The eyeliners are a green (image), taupe (thunder), medium brown (putty), black (caviar), blue (picasso) and brown (midnight brown). I bring this palette with me because the cream eyeliners can be used as a shadow as wel as a eyeliner. If you use it as a smokey shadow, you can set it with a translucent powder to make it smudge proof.

I always bring at least one coloured pencil with me and the last holiday it’s been this Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in 15L which is an amazing blue.
I have my Shu Uemura Eyelashcurler at home in my bathroom, I wouldn’t bring it with me on a day to day basis simply because I treasure it too much. I bring this cheap eyelashcurler with me daily.
The mascara I have with me is the Make Up For Ever Smokey Lash mini I own. I have many mini mascara’s but this one is my absolute favourite because it bulks up my lashes amazingly and the curl I put in it stays.
My hair is naturally curly which means that it’s also naturally frizzy…. This means I always have a mini John Frieda Frizz Ease with me at all times. I used to have a Frederick Fekkai glossing cream tester with me as well, but that’s empty now and I haven’t found a new one yet.
As a lip and cheektint I’ve been using the Stila Cherry Crush lip and cheek stain which is an amazing colour and it feels very very hydrating and fresh.
The thing I’ve had in my bag for as long as I can remember (it’s been filled and replaced dozens of times), are these soap leaves. I always hate coming to a sink to wash my hands and finding there is no soap, so I bring my own. I buy them at an outdoor (wildernis) store.
I also bring at least one Oral B Brush Always packet. I hate the feeling of bad breath or non clean teeth, so this is great for when I’ve eaten something smelly.
I also always have aspirin with me and these are ones you can take without water which is great for when you’re on the road a lot.
I also am one of those prepaired women who brings band-aids with her.
I bring cuticle scissors for cuticles and recently for my bangs

The bender mender by Anatomicals, it’s something I bought in a whim and now always have a packet with me, simply because it helps your body rehydrate quickly. I don’t drink alcohol (ever), so I don’t have hangovers, but I do have the bender mender.
And after it’s all put in the bag, the bag looks like this (yes it all actually fits!!):
And that ladies is what I have in my makeup bag…. I’d like to tag all of you who haven’t done this tag already and ask the ones who have to be so kind and link to your post in the comments so that people who love these tags can find your site.
Big
