Octa Gone Wild

Hi everyone,

Well, it’s the weekend and I was in the mood for a holographic. So I took up my kaleidoscope collection by China Glaze and the colour my hand went to immediately was Octa Gone Wild, a silvery holographic purple.

Right Here Now, No More Later

Hi everyone,

This week I was sooo in the mood for a bright colour on my nails. I originally wanted a green, but my hand went straight to this Misa colour called Right Here Now, No More Later. Maybe my need for brights comes from this amazing weather we’re having.

I took the Essie Shift power off after wearing it one day, I really didn’t like the colour. After this I used the heap of products I’ve been wearing lately. I really believe the NailTek is good for my nails. I also really enjoy the lovelivity of the nailpolish when I use this regimen.

  • Seche Vite – Dry Fast TopCoat
  • The ridge filler gives a rough matte finish on which the nailpolish sticks amazingly well. I applied only 2 coats here. I love the Seche Vite just as much as the OPI fast drying topcoat, I still have to do a test with both on lovelivity (I’m planning on it for the holiday).

    Shift Power

    Hi everyone,

Today I’m wearing a warmcoloured nailpolish for a change, most of the colours I wear are cool-toned colours.

I started this look by shortning my nails quite a bit, I broke my tumbnail and I always hate having multi-length nails, so I shortened them all a bit.
I used a lot of products because I hoped I’d love this colour (I didn’t)

I was hoping I’d love this colour, but it’s not golden enough for me to actually earn the name golden, it’s very streaky and I have bubbles on my tips (reason why I used the Konad to hide this).

      Ruby Pumps

      Hi everyone,

This is my fifth post this weekend, so I hope I’ve made my lacking of posts of the week up to you guys with this.
The last post might possibly be my favourite colour red of all time. Ruby Pumps is a glitter red and the polish is beautiful, I have no other words to discribe it.

This is polish that I applied with a new regimen I just got and also tried on the Dirty Sexy Money nails I did the day before. I was trying to keep that colour on for longer, but I then accidentally hit my hand to the wall and broke 2 nails :( so I had to shorten all my nails (I hate unequal lengths in nails) and reapply nailpolish.

It looks like a lot of polishes, but I’m hoping this polish will keep for a week. I cleaned my nails and applied:

      Dirty, Sexy, Money

      Hi everyone,

You all know I love my greenish blues and pastel blues, so this colour is perfect. I was really looking for a colour that was completely different from the purples of th week, so I had to try this new colour by Misa.

This is a polish I applied with a new regimen, hopefully my nails will get stronger and the polish will keep better.

      Pyramid Purple

      Hi everyone,

After the dark purple, I had to wear a lighter purple, I used the Nubar – Pyramid Purple on my nails and I LOVED it. This colour works sooo well with my skintone and it applied like a dream.

I used a coat of OPI – Natural Nail base coat and 2 coats of Pyramid Purple. I let this dry naturally and then I took up the Konad black polish and the Konad m10 image plate to place the figures on my nails. To set the polish I used Seche Vite Top Coat.

      Goddess On Stage

      Hi everyone,

Here’s another quick polish post, I’ll get to more eyelooks when the holiday starts, I simply have no time to take pictures in the morning and at night I’m beat.

This is another H&M polish called Goddess on Stage. One coat looked horrible, I thought the colour was soo different from the colour in the bottle, but the second coat made it AMAZING!! I used a feauxnad (plate K04) and the silver polish by Konad to create the flowers on the nails.

It’s a shame I only have two pictures of these nails, it was a polish I applied at night and i forgot to take pictures during the day. The purple colour is AMAZING!!

As you can see, this is another polish that keps really well, except for the tipwear.

      My favourite jeans

      Hi everyone,

My week has been soo busy, you will not believe, I actually got ill from the fact that I had no time to sleep or eat. So no posts at all during the week.
The nailpolish I had on for 4 days (pictured on the 4th day) was My Favourite Jeans by H&M. This is 3 coats, and it kept pretty well as you can see, only some wear at the tips.

      Pixie nails

      Hi everyone,

For some reason these nails remind me of pixies, so I gave them that name.

      I used:

(from left to right) OPI – Natural Nai Base Coat, Essie – Mesmerize, Nfu-Oh – 53, Seche Vite – Dry Fast Top Coat, OPI – DripDry

I cleaned my nails using Herome Caring Nial Polish Remover, this brings the least amount of damage to my nails and cuticles.
On my clean nails I used a basecoat to make sure my nails don’t stain and one coat of Mesmerize to give the blue basecoat.
On top of the Mesmerize I used 2 coats of the no. 53 Nfu-Oh flakies, this gives the blue glitter and pink flakies effect.
As a Topcoat I used my new Seche Vite, I like this stuff, it’s a little more fluid then the OPI Topcoat I usually use but so far gives the same quick trying and protection that I’m used to. Over this I used the OPI drying drops because I’m as usual in a hurry and I have to time… ARGH no time!!! Why am I typing I have no time, this takes time ARGH PANIC!!! ;)
