Happy 2012, I’m back!! feat. Truly Yours unboxing
0Hi everyone,
It’s been a long time since I’ve blogged. My computer has been on a world tour for 9 months to get fixed and when it came back it still wasn’t. My boyfriend fixed the last bits and now it’s working like a charm.
I did upload on Twitter occasionally so some of you who’ve been following me there will remember some of the pictures.
You will see me tell all about this makeup very soon:
I will tell you all about a couple of makeup looks I’ve worn in the last 8 months like:

I still love the unwearable makeup looks, and my friend Nic loves being my model… so coming soon will be the explanation to this look:
But the first post will be all about the Dutch answer to the Birchbox. Truly yours… http://www.trulyyours.nl/

Nailtrend Fall/Winter 2011/2012
0Hi everyone,
This glitter nail is very trendy for the coming fall/winter season. It has it’s positive and negative traits. It’s very very glittery and that won’t go away. It will however leave a huge trail of glitter the first day and will get stuck in your clothes and scratch you and your friends if your not careful. You can fix this by pressing the glitter more in your nailpolish, but that will take away the arty side. Honestly it’s very unwearable, but it’s sooo pretty.
How do you achieve this? (meer…)

Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power-Cleanser
0Hi everyone,
I think that most of you know I absolutely love my Clarisonic. Seriously, this is a heavenly gadget. But for taking with me it’s kinda big and I don’t want to damage it. So I got a Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power-Cleanser.
Claims: WAVE hello, to softer, glowing skin!
Neutrogena guarantees results you can see every day. Clinically proven to clean up to 50x better then ordinary cleansing (dirt and waterproof foundation) for a noticeably soft glowing skin.

L’Oreal Youth Code line
0Hi everyone,
Here I am again, today to bring you a review on something I too fell for. Well, sorta fell for. I saw this amazing deal where I could get all L’Oreal products for 10 euro each. Since some of these products are over 25 euro I kinda thought I had little to lose. I needed a new night cream and well, I could try this line for a while.
I’m talking about the L’Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise Youth Code line. Which is supposed to renew and rejuvenate the skin. They claim that they’ve researched this for 10 years (no studies are published though) and that it’s inspired by Gen-Science. Sounds pretty amazing right….. but read again, it’s INSPIRED by….. get it.
Claims:
The first morning after use: The skin is hydrated and more smooth. You look more fresh.
After 7 nights: You look less tired and more relaxed
After 28 nights: Wrinkles are noticeably less, you look younger.
Wellll, I saw this video after I bought it and thought I was an idiot.
I got the Serum, the Day and (meer…)
Macadamia Natural Oil (Hair)
0Hi everyone,
As you might know curly hair is easier damaged and usually very fragile. As my hair is curly it’s known for being beautiful to others and a nightmare to me. I love my hair curly. But since I put highlights in them last year I have bits that are straight. I have dark hair naturally, so any greys (yes, I’m old
) show up really well and they all tend to show up exactly where you notice them first. Next I have a sensitive scalp, it can be very dry but too much product in a shampoo or conditioner and it will be oily. Lastly I have curly hair….. which means frizzy hair. If I shower and put nothing in it….. Helloooo miss Diana Ross. If I put gel in I look (meer…)
H&M Booties for sale
0Hi everyone,
Last fall/winter I got these booties at H&M because I loved them sooo much.
And then I only wore them once (and only walked to the car, from the car to my friends house and then back to the car and back inside). They look amazing under jeans and make your legs look really long. I just think it’s a shame that I never wear them and therefor I’m selling them.
Soooo, if you want these booties, in a european size 39, tell me in the comments and tell me how much you’d give for them, I won’t let them go for just 10 euro’s so only do a sensible offer, I’m not auctioning these off, so don’t go outbidding one another with 5 cents per bid. I’ll ship them anywhere you live, but the shipping costs are for you (otherwise me selling these would cost me more then keeping them and me not having any money right now means I have to watch where I spend it). I just want someone to enjoy these shoes, so this will not become a habit of the site.
Big love and let me know if you want the booties!!
Sunscreen before or after moisturizer??
3Hi everyone,
I think, like many of us makeup fanatics I tend to take annoyingly good care of my skin. I just want it to be happy and healthy and look the same. Sooo you’ve probably just like me have been asking yourself, should I apply my sunscreen before or after my moisturizer. I know many of today’s moisturizers have an SPF of 15, but…. well….. I kinda want more on my face.
My skin tends to freckle, and not only that, but hyper pigmentation is a HUGE problem for me, especially in areas where I reallllyyyyyy don’t want it. Now I know there are many creams for hyper pigmentation, and trust me, I’ve used them all, and none of them have actually made it disappear. Soooo until I have enough money and can go to a professional and have it lazered off, I just have to make sure the sun does’t make it worse and this means a sunscreen. I love the Peter Thomas Roth sunscreen and I also always have the powdered version in my bag for really sunny days and for when I have the freak occasion of hitting a terras when it’s sunny out.
The powder goes over my makeup which means over my foundation, but what about the normal sunscreen? Do I apply sunscreen before or after my foundation? I happened to browse the internet and found my answer on Oprah’s website. Here is the answer (meer…)
Rimmel London NOTD
0Hi everyone,
I wanted something new on my nails and I loved the effect the different types of holographic nails gave to my hands and I went for non-holographic nails this time. I then added a French line to all of the nails using a polish from an adjacent nail.
On my nails I’m wearing the following colours.
Thumb: OPI – Rumple’s Wiggin
Index: Lycra pro – 420 Aqua Cool
Middle: Lycra Pro – 425 My Denim
Ring: 60 Seconds – 825 Sky High
Pink: Lycra Pro – 500 Peppermint
Summer eye look
3Hi everyone,
I haven’t worn makeup in over a month and I wanted to start again with a summer look. I’d forgotten how much I enjoy wearing makeup and playing with it.
I used only three things to achieve this look.
I started with Mac Melon pigment on my eye and on my lower lashline. I blended the colour to just over my crease, on my waterline I’m wearing Urban Decay Zero pencil and Rimmel 123 Looks Waterproof mascara on my lashes finished the look.
The Rimmel Mascara was a bit of a pleasant surprise to be honest. It’s one of those twisting mascara’s which mean you can get more or less volume (read: product). They say that put the “dial” at 1 and you get 3x more volume, put it on 2 and you get 5x more volume and on 3 for 10x more volume. Well that claim is nonsense in itself, but the mascara is actually very good. You might not expect it from a mascara that looks as cheap packaging wise as this one does, but it does make lashes look more full. The brush is very very nice. It’s a small brush which means that you can get very near to the roots without hitting skin and the mascara doesn’t run in the rain or in the shower. It stays on very well and does a very decent job. Don’t expect the dials to actually give you 10 times the volume, that’s ridiculous and we all know it. That’s like those mascara adds where you can see the woman wearing false lashes and then claiming that the mascara did that. We’re not dumb, just say that they look better and prettier and show us the REAL results. Anyway, enough of my rambling, just thought you should get more info on this for me serendipitous product.
